A place to be free,
A place to be me

Supporting Young Carers: Young people aged 24 and under that are supporting or caring for a friend, family, whānau or aiga member with a disability, health condition, illness, mental illness or addiction.

We envision a New Zealand where all young carers will be flourishing by learning to love who they are and understand their potential is limitless.

Here at Camp Unity, we believe that holistic wellness is the most important aspect of what we do. This means we run our programmes on a holistic/spiritual level.  There are zero judgments and we provide a safe space for everyone to be themselves.  A holistic approach allows us to provide everyone that attends a unique experience that encompasses mind, body and soul.  It's about freedom and healing all areas of your life.

Camp Unity is real. We are open and honest about what we do and how we work.  We are passionate about helping others, and bring families/whānau/aiga together so they know that they are not alone.

Cindy

"She became very close friends with one of the children at camp, and thoroughly enjoyed her experience being there, amongst people who could understand her struggles of living with a sibling with a disability"

Jazmin

"I don't think words can really describe how this camp and the people who were in it and organised it impacted on us. I can not thank you all enough for making this happen."

Carlo

"It was cool seeing everyone try 110% and to be around other kids who knew how I was feeling and understood what I was going through."
